Cycle 100 miles through this challenging route for Lingen Davies Cancer Fund

Route Info

The 100 mile route is new for 2024! This scenic route leaves Welshpool and heads towards Montgomery. A decent climb follows and leads you over Stapleley Hill before dropping into the village of Minsterley for your first rest stop at approximately 24 miles. After fuelling up, you’ll take on the steepest incline over the Stiperstones and down again into Minsterley where you can fuel up again (approx. 46 miles). You’ll then follow consistent terrain before another incline by Marton Hill. From here the route takes you on an undulating path into Mid Wales, through Groes-Iwyd, Cyfronydd, Castle Caereinion and Berriew, where you’ll find your rest stop (approx. 75 miles). The final leg of the route remains an up and down path, passing Dolforwyn Castle and Garthmyl heading back to HQ at Welshpool Rugby Club.
