The 100km route is where Pedal the Borders began in 2021, and this year it’s a brand new route!
This scenic route leaves Welshpool and heads towards Montgomery. A decent climb follows and leads you over Stapleley Hill before dropping into the village of Minsterley for your first rest stop at approximately 40km. After fuelling up, you’ll take on steepest incline over the Stiperstones and down again into Minsterley where you can fuel up again (approx. 74km). You’ll then follow consistent terrain before another incline by Marton Hill, and down to the finish line at Welshpool Rugby Club.
