Setting up online fundraising
To help us continue to fund excellent cancer services for the people of Shropshire and Mid Wales, we’d love it if you could raise some extra pennies on top of your entry fee. We realise this may not be possible for everyone, so however much you are able to raise is appreciated – there are a few ideas below! Since the event began in 2021, over £70,000 has been raised from Pedal the Borders…can you help us boost this even more?

Setting up an online fundraising page is a great way to kick start your fundraising! Share your page on social media and ask your friends to sponsor you to take part in Pedal the Borders. We have set up a dedicated fundraising campaign on JustGiving, which you can link your page to, to show how much you’ve contributed to our fundraising total!

Setting up an online fundraising page is a great way to kick start your fundraising! Share your page on social media and ask your friends to sponsor you to take part in Pedal the Borders. Simply click below and go to our Just Giving page and click ‘start fundraising’ – JustGiving will then walk you through the steps of setting up your own donation page.
Share to social media and watch the donations grow! Lingen Davies will automatically receive your donations so you don’t need to worry about collecting money. We’ll make sure to put your donations under your record so we can thank you for your wonderful fundraising.

You may prefer the old school way of fundraising! Gaining sponsorship by asking people to sign your paper sponsor form is sometimes the most effective way of getting them to commit to supporting you! Download a sponsor form below and take it round your office, down the pub, to the school gates – everywhere! And ask your friends to give a few pounds towards your fundraising – you’ll be surprised at how quick your total grows!
Donors can tick the Gift Aid box too which means we’ll receive an extra 25p per £1 – just make sure they read and understand the gift aid declaration at the top of the page! When you’ve collected your sponsorship, you can bring it with you to PTB on 10th September, or donate it to us before 31st December 2023. You can pop in and see us at the Fundraising Office at Shrewsbury Hospital where we can take cash and cheque, or you can send us a BACS payment on the details below.
